Recently I went to the dog show at the Pinehurst Harness Track Sponsored by the Moore County Kennel Club.

Dog show in PinehurstSome people ask when they are considering relocating to the area what else is there to do besides play golf  in Pinehurst. Now a dog show might not seem exciting to everyone, but this was a fun event for the dog lover as well as the casual spectator looking for a nice outdoor activity for the weekend.

People came from all over the country to show their dogs. They are serious about their sport and there was a large variety of breeds from the very large to the very small. In addition to watching the show dogs, there were vendors with everything from doggy beds to jewelry and accessories for the ladies and food treats for everyone. This cute dog in the picture stood on her bed without jumping down showing off all the dog toys and beds its owner had to show.

There are many other things to do in the Pinehurst area. This dog show presented by the Moore County Kennel Club at the Pinehurst Harness Track was just one of many events and activities going on this pas

Hi all, yes I do have more pictures, Roy. But I thought this one was the funniest. Belinda, it was great to see all the show dogs and the family pets that were there. I have 3 dogs, Sharon and I love them. But 3 is toooooo many.
