Working with my Buyers for 8 weeks!

By
Real Estate Agent with Keller Williams Jacksonville Realty

Gee,

I have these new clients that I have been working with for 8 weeks. WE have seen so many homes in the Mandarin and Southside Area, I've stopped counting. Most Realtors would be furious that it's taking so long for them to make up their mind, but actually I'm enjoying the looking! Hey, it's a perfect way to get to know all the Inventory of Pool Homes in the Mandarin area. Next time I have a client that wants a Pool Home in Southern Jacksonville, I'll be able to say, I've been in Most of them! (hahha) And now I'm about to get a Listing for a Pool Home, and I know exactly where to price it, because I've seen most of the Competition homes in the same Mandarin Area! That's what it takes to be a Professional Realtor....KNOW your Inventory in your Area!!

I helped some buyers out several months ago. It took them quite along time to decide what was what. I stuck with them all the way, much to the dismay of several people from the office.

We found them exactly waht they wanted and it has now led to 3 other Sales and 2 listings. Stick with them if you can, as you never know where it may lead you.

It seems par for the course these days to show and show. I showed so many houses this summer to one couple who stopped looking after cancelling 2 contracts. Sometimes it just doesn't pay.

I agree.  You HAVE to know the inventory.  I always consider showing property, even if if does not end up with a sale, as an advanced course in Real Estate.  I have also made sales to another client after seeing the property with someone who never bought anything.

You have a great attitude.

I also had buyers like that...and then I remember how long it took me to find a dress for my friends wedding, and it didin't cost even close to how much a home cost.....

Stick with them and it is a great way to learn the inventory. You are so correct, that now you know the inventory, you know how to price a listing...go get it!

Keep up the positive attitude, as most agents would be complaining right now about the length of time spent with the buyers. Remember, you will get a paycheck by sticking with them and possibly future business from them.
