Pumpkin patches aren’t just for kids and jack o’ lanterns anymore. This weekend San Rafael will be hosting Marin’s Glorious Glass Pumpkin Harvest at the Falkirk Cultural Center. Glass artists from California and Oregon will be on hand to celebrate autumn with their whimsical pieces. Imagine a field of glass leaves, mushrooms, and sparkling pumpkins in every conceivable color. Glassblowing demonstrations are scheduled as well, weather permitting, sure to make this a truly fascinating experience. Admission is free. Glass pumpkins will be for sale, but there is no pressure to buy. Just come and enjoy.
