How Green Is Your Lunch? Pay It Forward for the Planet and Posterity

I'm not talking about salads here, although I did have a delicious one today.  I am referring to the reusable containers I use each day--even my water bottle is a Rubbermaid refillable one.  No brown bags for me, I use an old French macrame market bag that is so old it is back in style again.  It's a relic from my Earth Mother days back in the 1970s.

Packing lunch with the earth in mind may not save the world but it is a small daily way to reduce constant consumption of plastic water bottles, disposable containers and plastic or foil wrapping paper.  I bring my lunch to work roughly four days a week and I'm happy to say I rarely have any packaging waste other than a paper napkin--I guess I could use a cloth one, but I'm not quite there yet...something to aspire to I suppose.

Small changes are capable of having a huge impact when employed by the masses.  The planet will benefit and so will generations to come.

I'm happy to say that my lunch is 100% recycable! I also keep a couple of recycle bins in my office for all to use. Go green!
