Hi Mary, I love this little "mini movie of the moon" You've captured the beauty of it which is hard to do. I love it!
I've noticed it too Mary... and I couldn't help but think it's a wonderful opportunity to dance in the streets... naked ;-) Hope all is well with you sweetie!
Mary, that was a beautiful way to say good night...very peaceful. Next time, ask Henry if he'll howl at the moon too!
Fun music for those great captured night shots. Good Night Moon ... a sweet child's story comes to mind. Isn't it fun to work on new talents that allow us to experience life through a special lens.
Dear Mary ~ How PRETTY!! It was a big "Harvest" moon :). Thank you! I will look again this evening before I go to sleep! Hugs & thanks
Mary, beautiful slide show. The fall harvest moons are the best! Henry sure is lucky to have a buddy to watch the moon with. :)
Thank you Cindy,
It was interesting working my camera in he night mode. It was such a beautiful evening and the moon was peeping through the trees. Couldn't resist.
Mel, it was a beautiful evening, one could think about dancing down the street as it was a quiet evening and no one else was out. I am good, getting ready for 10 days in Hawaii. I have not been anywhere for 10 days in over 40 years, so I am looking forward to a new adventure with loved ones.
I hope all is going well for you as well.
You know Susan, I think I will ask Henry if he would do that. He will barely adventure out of our front door, unless of course his best friend Hadley a yellow lab is out and wants to play. He had a run in with a small racoon and he is not so keen unless you walk with him. He did, however stand on the porch with me, protecting me I am sure. LOL
You know Connie, it really is fun to discover and develop new talents through a special lens in your life. I am having fun with the picture videos and discovering new things to think about. I don't have a regular video camera except for my Driod, it does take nice little videos but no zooming in.
I thought about the book "Goodnight Moon" as well, it is a story I read to my grand-babies many times and they loved it. That may have been a much better title when I think of it.
I hope you have a good upcoming weekend.
Hi Pam, it was so beautiful and very very peaceful. Just looking at it and observing made my shoulders go down a long way. I am glad you have enjoyed it.
Hi Didi,
I agree Harvest Moons are the best, especially when they really get big and luminous. I am fortunate as well to have Henry as my buddy. He is the best, so loving and caring. He takes care of me all of the time.
Mary I really did like it too! I like the fact that you added the dog too! Pictures were great!
Sussie, thank you so much. Henry the Dog is such a great companion and he felt he was "Protecting" me I am quite sure when I was outside in the dark. Very sweet. I did like how the photos came out, they were interesting in how the camera looked at the moon. I hope you have a great weekend. Monday I am off to see my youngest daughter in Hawaii for ten days. I hope to have some interesting photos when I come back.
Henry did a very nice job helping you with your movie, Mary:)
Thanks Toni,
Ssorry it took me so long to get back, I am on vacation in Hawaii seeing my daughter who lives here. It is so beautiful here and so many things to see.
Mary - I can say that I have seen better photos of the moon, and many times, but how you put them together, added captions and music and transformed it into a wonderful and heartwarming poetic treat.
Thank you
Mary - I followed the link to your artistic site and enjoyed the watercolors. It is so wonderful to have a skill like that. Lucky you...
Jon,
Thank you for commenting on this blog, and am glad that you enjoyed it. I am learning photography and my camera, but these photos were kind of fun so I used them.
As well Jon, I am glad you went to my art website. I have more paintings that I need to include just haven't done it yet. Thank you for the compliment. I hope you have a wonderful day.
