I had the same reaction to the Mosquito Serenade even with the music attached to it.  When I was a teen and lived in Minnesota with my parents, the mosquito sound was dreaded! LOL A

Steve, the Sacramento River looks like a good-sized body of water. I love summer concert series in the open air - and hopefully the only Mosquito Serenade is the one coming from instruments :0)

I've heard of the "Minnesota mosquitos." I don't believe the Anderson mosquitos are related. (smile)

The Sacramento River starts at Shasta Dam. The River and our "Delta" region have over 1,000 miles of navigable waterways, that lead to the San Francisco Bay.

Come to think of it the buzz of mosquitos has never been music to my ears either.
