Pro Rodeo Production of Poway in Poway, California will be holding the 39th annual Poway Rodeo. Beginning Saturday September 23, 2011 at 7:30P.M., and continuing at 1P.M., Sunday-- September 24, 2011 at the Poway Valley Riders Association Arena, 14336 Tierra Bonita Road, Poway, California
This free event will include Bareback and Saddle Bronc Riding, Steer Wrestling, Calf and Team Roping, Barrel Racing, Mutton Button and Bull Riding competitions, food and souvenir vendors as well as a performance by the Shooting Stars Drill Team, a comedy act by Donnie Landis and a dance open to adults ages 21 and older. Contest winners will be awarded cash prizes and points that may allow them to qualify for the National Finals to be held in Las Vegas in December 2011.
