Seven Lakes take on Katy Tigers in 1st district game

The Seven Lakes Spartans have an important game coming up this Friday, September 23^rd at Rhodes Stadium in Katy, Texas against the Katy Tigers. Why is this game so important? Well the Spartans have their best start ever 3-0. The Katy Tigers who put Katy, Texas on the map for high school football just about always have a great start and finish too.

The Katy Tigers are ranked 26^th nationally and 4^th in the state of Texas; while the Seven Lakes Spartans are ranked 1264 nationally and 52^nd in the State.

Statistically speaking the Katy Tigers just barely edge out the Spartans. It will be an exciting district game. I always support the Katy Tigers when they go off to the state playoffs; my loyalty will always lay with the Seven Lakes Spartans. Also, it is very American to root for the underdog. So, all I have to say is go Spartans beat the stripes off the Tigers!

Yolanda, Well it looks like this is the game to be at on Friday night. Wow, the Tigers are 26th Nationally and the Spartans are 1264th, but they are 3-0 for the year. I wouldn't want to miss it. Don't forget the camera.

Yes Go Spartan's Go.. It would be a huge upset for Seven Lakes to beat Katy but possible. Spartans minimize mistakes and actually believe they can win it is possible. Have fun at the game and We will be rooting for Spartans all the way. Plus Seven Lakes band is much better than theirs.
