What is Squidoo and....

I've read in a few blogs mentioning Squidoo and that we all need to do it. None of these explained what is was or why I should care. So, my question is what is it and why do I need it?

Sherry - Squidoo is a site where you make a "lense". A lense is nothing more than a fancy term for a mini website. It is another way of promoting your business. It is very easy to create if you spend a little time on the site. This can be good from a few different vantage points. You will creat another site the comes up in search engines as well as using the site to link back to you website. Check out my site at Metrowest MA Real Estate. This site comes up when people search for property in my area. Hope this was helpful.

Bill-Thanks for the quick response. Has having that page ever helped you in your business at all? And the info on the left side of your page, do you set all of that up also or just the main part? And yes, this was very helpful.

Sherry - Hard to say if someone has hired me because of it but I can tell you it does have tracking ability. The site has been viewed about 600 times since the begining of the summer. It does create another inbound link to my website and squiddo does well in google SERPS so it can't hurt. The middle is what you create.
