Staging Open House

I am holding an open house in a Gorgeous Home in Farmington August 5th and 6th from 10am-2pm. My clients home is perfectly staged, so we are also holding an class there giving basic advise on Staging a home for Living or Selling.

Barb Schwarz talks about her personal home and how it is staged to live. One thing I remember is that she said that she recycles wire hangers to the dry cleaner and only has white plastic hangers. I am sure there are other items that we can use for Sat and Sun.

We are advertising in SLWeekly, Standard Tribune, Flyers in various locations and Postcards mailed to various people. I will give an update as too how well the Open house goes

I think staging is an excellent investment. The furniture stores do it and if they didn't they probably wouldn't sell nearly as much product. I think most sellers know that they should clean up before buyers come, but don't really know anything obout staging. I think also that it's still a little known secret with realtors, and an edge for those that can get their sellers to do it.
