Chris,
Excellent post and i may have the opportunity to dine there.

Nice local piece, Chris! If I'm ever traveling through Alliston, I'll remember Mike's!
HI Chris,
We all have our favourites don't we, and for some reason every town I have lived in I can still tell which restaurant was and is the local "pfann favourite", one day we will check out Mike's....
Hi Chris - An excellent recommendation to consider the next time I am in the Alliston area.
Mike's sounds like our kind of place Chris! We hope to get there and when we do, we hope you come along!
Brian, you will enjoy the restaurant
Chris, this is a great "shout out" to a local establishment. Restaurants like this are the heart and soul of communities. not only do they feed the population, but often they are the places where local kids get their first part time jobs and a toe-hold into the working world.
Steve, if you are ever in the Southern Ontario area, and passing through, I will join you.
Chris, we always try to support our local and family own businesses around here in CT. Very important for the community. Great post thanks.
Peter and Linda, if you are in Toronto and have time to visit us, I will take you to lunch there
Marc, it is off the beaten track, but a worth looking for
Malcolm, you are so right... My first job growing up was at the Doctor's House, a local restaurant in Kleinburg
David, wherever possible we try to buy products locally made or grown and sold in local stores, helping our economy and saving the environment as much as possible
Al and Peggy, if you plan on visiting Miss Vickie, and need to eat it might be worth the detour ;-)
