Fitzsimmons Spit is one of those out of the way locations that not everyone knows about, but it's a beautiful spot to come and hang out in the summer. This is where Fitzsimmons Creek flows between Whistler and Blackcomb and flows out into Green Lake, which you might have seen as you went on the peak to peak and looked down. It's not really common knowledge to most people, but everyday you'll see a few people hanging out with their dogs or just sitting on the sand. Want to know how to get to Fitzsimmons Spit? Come down to Nicklaus North where you'll park at the golf course, then proceed to walk along the valley trail and it'll lead you directly onto the spit! Interested in seeing what the Spit looks like?
