Towamencin Township is holding their annual Turkey Trot 5-K on Saturday, November 19, 2011 at Fischer's Park. Race starts at 9am. Registration starts at 8am.
The top male and female trotters will win a free turkey! Runners of all ages are welcome and encouraged to run or walk in this event. The race will weave its way through the 77 acre Fischer's Park and use some of the scenic roadways surrounding the park.
Fee to race: $25 on the day of the race. Save $8 if you pre-register. All pre-registered runners will get the classic long-sleeve official Turkey Trot 2010 T-Shirt. Additional t-shirts will be available on the day of the race on a first-come, first-serve basis. Runner bag pickup will be available the day before the race (November 18th).
Race proceeds benefit the Towamencin Parks and Recreation department.
Pre-Registration ends on November 14th for paper entries and November 16th for online entries.
