Luxury Real Estate Marketing; A Laid Back Luxury in Santa Barbara

coast village road

Unlike Beverly Hills, Santa Barbara is more laid back in its retail area.  Here we have tall hibiscus bushes that line the sidewalks as well as eucalyptus trees.  This was taken on Coast Village Road in the heart of Montecito, our poshest aread.  Coast Village Road is lined with lovely eateries and fun one of a kind shops with exquisite merchandise, and of course real estate offices, where some of the best realtors work.  This road's zip code is Santa Barbara, even though we all call it Montecito.

Happy Friday, Autumn is officially here.  Cheers Ron & Alexandra

Alexandra-That is a beautiful hibiscus. Mom had a couple of bushes where she first lived in Va but there were a deep pink. The japanese beetles were terrible though and the spray for it did no good. Thank you for sharing the beauty of your area. Have a super weekend.

R & A, I can appreciate those so much more than the one in the median.  Park the car and enjoy a whiff of Fleur de Montecito while shopping.

Now there is a plant that we have here in the desert as well!  The only thing I don't like about them is that you can't clip them and bring them inside to enjoy.  They just wilt and die!  Have a good weekend-- and let's set up a time to talk on the phone.  K

And, those are just beautiful, Alexandra. A pretty picture. I imagine the street looks gorgeous with the hibiscus lining it.

I've always liked hibiscus, but both my mom's and our own were always covered with white fly. Mom finally gave up on them, as have I. I'll just visit them at the Zoo and Botanical Gardens.

Ron & Alexandra,

Not your typical streetscape to be sure. I've hear Montecito mentioned, but have never visited. It sounds delightful.

Kathy,

I agree with you, you cannot bring them in.  The solution is to have some growing by  a window so that you can enjoy them without a vase, LOL  A

Steve,

Montecito has some of the most expensive real estate around, and it has a great school district.  There are other areas such as Hope Ranch that has both, however Montecito has a cache especially with the LA folks and show biz.  A

A & R... Santa Barbara is one of my favorite places in SoCal... precisely for it's 'laid back' environment.  You two do a fantastic job making us salivate over the sights, sounds and tasty treats your town has to offer... especially the chocolate!  Love it!
