COLLIN COLLEGE, Plano,TX is once again offering an 8 hour Home Staging CE class this time to be held on two Saturdays; October 29th and November 5th, 2011 from 9 AM to 1 PM.

Note: This is the only session being offered for the Fall Term 2011. Next course offering will be in Winter 2012.

This practical and informative Home Staging course is designed for the home seller or ANYONE who would like to know more about marketing and preparing a home for resale using home staging.

Please note: Realtors: This course does NOT provide TREC MCE hours.

Hi Connie, thank you so much for your words of affirmation for the staging profession (and me =), you are so right that this is NOT just a hobby for those of us who are serious about our business and assisting our clients with marketing their homes for sale with staging. I feel an educated consumer is actually my best client and if they want to DIY and get a great result then more power to them! I'm building a referral based business on a platform of education for the consumer and Realtor on the job that stagers and staging can do for getting them a successful and profitable result!

Wow, what a difference Karen. I wish all homeowners would see the benefits of staging their home. Sure, its not free to do but its SOO worth it in the end. Hope you have a good turnout.

Hi John, when you consider being on the market over 200 Days like this home was and the carrying costs of the mortgage,utilities, maintenance etc (in the thousands for months) the investment in staging (and this home was less than $500 for the staging and accessory rental & then the owner's purchased a few things to take with them (2 barstools, a patio set and one office chair) staging actually MAKES you money faster and pays for itself! One of the reasons I continue to educate is that many people still DON'T UNDERSTAND THIS! Why are home sellers willing to lose money by taking reductions that cost them so much more than investing a little to get it right the first time out? Staging makes more money sense than actually putting money in a CD right now, you get a faster and better return in most cases!
