Steve, how can you tell there are 400 builders on Active Rain? I'm sure there must be some magic buttton somewhere that I don't know about. There's always something to learn.

Steve - 400 sounds like a decent number. I don't think the majority would embrace the tetechnology the way you do. Realtors and Mortgage professional are alway on the computer so this comes more nature for them.

Marchel, on the Active Rain homepage there is a place where you can choose to search for members by profession. I jump into the builder-contractor list every couple weeks to see if there are any new members really pushing points. This spot on the homepage also tells how many total people are members from each type of profession.

Yesterday, when I noticed we hit 400, I then went to the place where you can choose "today's new members" and emailed the 400th member to congratulate him.

Jennifer, you are correct that home builders have tended to lag in technology. Where I'm confused is that new home salespeople, people who sit in models and sell for just one builder, are plentiful in many markets and are just not stepping up here on Active Rain.

I seen that also, congradulations ! I also busy helping people find homes to rent or to buy. Its a bit easier when you have Mortgage company to help your clients get the best rate.

Todd, your grammar threw me off there, but I think I agree that it helps when you are in some form of synergistic partnership or joint venture with the lender.
