She had explained to me that her car would not start and someone else had already tried to jump start her car with some cables, but it still would not start. She assumed it must have been her starter. She told me that she didn’t live far from the Walgreens and would be grateful if I had the time to give her a ride to her home. I told her to wait a few minutes until I picked up those items my wife had told me to purchase, and I would be glad to give her a ride home.

Jerry, that woman must have KNOWN you were a great non-threatening guy to ask for a ride home. That was very nice of you!
I couldn't have done that because you just never know what the other person's intents are. I would, however, have called AAA using my account so she could have gotten herself and her car home at no charge to anyone.

Jim. I just happened to have a AAA card, but I didn't think to offer it that day. One never knows the intent of others, and we agents should exercise caution at all times.

Jerry - this just goes to reinforce what a gifted person you really are. There are some who have the "helping" gift and others who don't. You definitely DO! It's a part of you and, obviously, others who don't even know you can feel it. Thank you for reaching out to someone in need.

Hi Jerry this pay it forward thing works and I believe in karma. I like to do something for someone that in no way can do anything back. We all though can take a lesson from your book and what a better place this would be.
Yes, Charles. Paying it Forward is a good thing to do for others, and we never know when the opportunity will present itself. We just have to be ready to trust our instincts, and judgment when that time comes.
