Jerry, that woman must have KNOWN you were a great non-threatening guy to ask for a ride home. That was very nice of you!
I couldn't have done that because you just never know what the other person's intents are. I would, however, have called AAA using my account so she could have gotten herself and her car home at no charge to anyone.
WOW, Janet. Very interesting that you had a similar Walgreens experience too. It all worked out for the best that day.
Thanks, Belinda. I appreciate your compliments, and I am not sure I am the "Nicest Guy in Texas", but I always like to be helpful and kind to others.
Yes, Joan. We both took a chance on our spirit man for directions that day. Glad everything went well for both of us.
Jim. I just happened to have a AAA card, but I didn't think to offer it that day. One never knows the intent of others, and we agents should exercise caution at all times.
Jerry, that is very nice of you for giving her a ride home. I"m glad the other's worst suspicions and fears proved to be unfounded.
Jerry - this just goes to reinforce what a gifted person you really are. There are some who have the "helping" gift and others who don't. You definitely DO! It's a part of you and, obviously, others who don't even know you can feel it. Thank you for reaching out to someone in need.
You must be putting off some pretty powerful Karma out there Jerry. Good for you and to her for realizing what a good guy you really are. It's always nice to hear some good news from out there in the world. Thanks for sharing.
"People can see who you are by your actions." This is so true Jerry! AND...when people show me who they are ... I believe them! Nice of you to take the time to drive this lady home.
Hi Jerry,
Way to go!
Very kind of you to help out this lady.
It’s always good helping people in a difficult situation.
Nice job asking her why she chooses you. It gives you clarity as to what others see when they look at you.
Have a great week!
Yes, Sondra. I was also glad all the others were wrong, but we do need to exercise caution, or let the spirit lead and direct you.
Yes, Bill and Cyndi, I would definitely have to agree that one of my spiritual gifts is "Giving". Of course my other one is "Teaching".
Doug, I am glad she was able to see me for who I truly am. She took a leap of Faith and it got her a ride home that day.
Yes, Lisa. It's like that old saying from those how live in Missouri, "Show Me". Our Actions will always be louder than our words.
Thanks, Wandanna. I am glad I asked her. She could have asked and chosen others. But, she was lead to ask me, and I was glad to be able to assist her that day.
If you ask God with pure intent he will answer you prayers and clearly you were the answer to this ladies prayers.
Yes, Todd. It would certainly appear that this ladies prayers were answered that day. Listening to our spirit man is very important to confirm our feelings at times.
Hi Jerry this pay it forward thing works and I believe in karma. I like to do something for someone that in no way can do anything back. We all though can take a lesson from your book and what a better place this would be.
Yes, Charles. Paying it Forward is a good thing to do for others, and we never know when the opportunity will present itself. We just have to be ready to trust our instincts, and judgment when that time comes.
