Confluence Park in Delta, Colorado was a hot spot today for REALTORS® having fun for a good cause. Today was the first annual (hopefully) Charity Challenge 5K. It was sponsored by Land Title to benefit the Delta County Board of REALTORS® Giving Fund. Land Title matched the funds we raised, and I think it came to over $600.00. The money goes into a fund to help out a local family in need. The event was a lot of fun, and about 30 REALTORS® turned out. The park is a great setting for any kind of gathering, and we got to enjoy some beautiful scenery while we were sweating for a good cause.
The old bridge is over the Uncompahgre River just before the confluence with the Gunnison River.
Even those considering a future career in real estate went the distance. And YES, I went the distance, too. It just took me longer because I kept stopping to take pictures. Thanks to Land Title for their support.
