Murfreesboro TN parents of 4th - 6th grade students have a GREAT opportunity to help their children learn about nutrition and the health benefits of being active. Middle Tennessee State University is hosting a NUTRITION CAMP being held at the Blue Raiders MTSU campus over the upcoming fall break. The camp will run from October 5 - 7 at the Murfreesboro Recreation Center and is a wonderful opportunity for children.
Instead of letting your kids just sit around all week during fall break, let them get active, learn about nutrition, AND have fun! This camp can change their life and set them on the path to a healthy future. The camp is geared for children and will have different sessions throughout the day. Each session will teach them different options to learn new exercises, how be more active, making healthy food choices and wise snack options.
The camp isn’t only about learning! Kids will be challenged on the 55 ft Alpine tower and climbing wall! They will also get to swim in the indoor pool and play lots of challenging games with their fellow campers. They will learn that being active and eating healthy is fun and can easily be achieved with minor lifestyle changes. They will even get to experiment with food and healthy snacks in the daily food lab!
Give your kids the gift of a healthy lifestyle! Enroll them in the MTSU Nutrition Camp October 5th - 7th!
