Shorty's is synonomous in Clark County with beautiful plants, shrubs, trees and gardening accessories. However, did you know Shorty's also offers a variety of classes throughout the year? For example, last weekend, Shorty's taught a "Fairy" 
Gardening class.
This weekend, Saturday, October 1st, you can learn more about Northwest birds and how best to attract them to your garden. The class will cover feeders, seed styles, and include methods to discourage raids from pesky squirrels. The class will also include time for a question and answer session.
The "Birding in the Northwest" class is free and runs from 10AM to 12 PM at Shorty's on Mill Plain. Birding raffle items will also be awarded to three lucky class particpants. If you love hummingbirds, songbirds and want to learn more about local birds in general, you'll want to attend.
