Movie Monday Review by Laura Cerrano Cerrano Feng Shui consultant: MoneyBall
This past weekend Laura Cerrano Feng Shui LI consultant saw MoneyBall staring Brad Pitt. For anyone who is a baseball fan or not, this is a movie to see because it tells the story of thinking outside the box, following your heart and changing your mindset for the better. It tells a story of determination, dedication and love for what you do in life.
Moneyball also tells the story of how baseball should be played, not what money can buy to play baseball. The Okland A's in 2001 were not having the best season and at one point all faith in the teams ability went out the window. Billy Bean (Brad Pitt) made drastic changes, including with the mindset of Okland A's players which helped them transform mid-way during the season. A little touch of Feng Shui for you :) It all starts with your mind and the intentions you set.
This movie is an eye opener and is a bit sad because that is the reality of baseball today. When baseball was first started, players did it because they loved the game, key word, LOVE. Players back then were humble and appreciated the opportunity to play. Not saying all of today's players don't, but it's rare to see. Yes they received payment, but many simply loved the game. As Brad Pitt said in MoneyBall, "How can you not be Romantic about Baseball."
