Looking for something to do in East Texas& give back to the community at the same time?
The East Texas State Fair is going on in Tyler, TX. The Fair started September 22 and runs through October 2, 2011. The Fair awards scholarships to seniors every year that will be attending Tyler Junior College.
Many fun activities are planned for the whole family: A day for Senior Citizens, an exotic petting zoo, pig races and more.
Let's not forget the plethera of food available for all to enjoy and the rides and games.
Gates open at 10 am daily with free admission until 2pm Monday - Friday.
$8 admission for adults (12 & up)
$5 admission for youth (6 - 12)
Free for those under 5
