Yay Fall! Very happy to welcome in my FAVORITE season of the year. How can you not love the cooler temps, not to mention the beautiful colors of nature and all the good food that finally feels OK to eat again...hot chocolate, hot chai, caramel apples, pumpkin bread. Well, speaking of Fall, here is the calendar of events for the month of October for the lovely Lake Lakengren!

Oct 1 - Dragon's Hold'em 7pm @ lodge
Oct 5 - Women's club field trip to Patterson House- assemble 11:15am at lodge
Oct 6 - Marine Lakes Mnmt Mtg 7pm at Marina clubhouse
Oct 8 - LPOA Annual meeting 9am - location TBA
Oct 9 --15 Fire Prevention Week - a good time to check your smoke detectors!
Oct 10 - LPOA Board mtg 7pm at Marina Clubhouse
Oct 13 - Dragon's Mtg 7:30pm @ Lodge
Oct 15 - Bass Club Anniversary and Awards Dinner, 7pm @ Lodge
Oct 18 - Garden Club field trip to Gratis (afternoon)
Oct 19 - Christams Lights Committee 6pm, Mtg begins at 8pm @ Lodge
Oct 20 - Safety Committee Mtg 5pm @ Lodge
Oct 21 - Viking deadline for November
Oct 22 - Adult Halloween Party (over 21)
Oct 24 - LPOA Board Mtg 7pm @ Marina Clubhouse
Oct 26 - Socal Club TBA
Oct 27 - Children's Halloween Walk 6-8pm @ Lodge.
If you have never been to the Halloween walk before, give it a shot. It is really a lot of fun and they make sure the kids go home with LOTS of goodies in their bags!
