Great post. I must have painted my bathroom blue 4 different times before I found the right one. Lighting can make a big difference too. I am also aware of the trim in my home. I have a dark cherry which accents some colors better than others. White trim seems to be great for going bold. Thanks for the inspiration!
working in Relocation - I've always preached neutral, neutral, neutral - so it's hard for me to embrace this sometimes!

This is a good color analysis, Ann! I have found that neutral is best for those who don't know how to properly use a splash of color. Too much is just, well...too much! But a touch of color can make a huge difference. Nice post!
