NEED HELP?  IT'S RIGHT HERE ON ACTIVE RAIN

With almost 55,000 members, it's likely that we have some folks who are "blog challenged", "e-mail challenged", or just plain "Internet challenged".

Kathy McGraw manages a GROUP for e-PRO Active Rain members who post questions and answers regularly.   Kathy generously give of her time to manage the Group and is ready to help members with technical help.

Bob Stewart has formed a special section of Active Rain for Community Support to help folks that need help with getting started or folks like me who need all the help they can get.  There are a number of helpful postsready to help us with blogging questions.

Many Active Rain members are more technically skilled than others.  This is a wonderfully generous community ready to help each other with tips and "how to" this or that to encourage members to post.  There are some jewels of post that have yet to be written.  Want to know how to load a photo or image?  The instructions are right in the Community Support pages.

Stop by and meet the members.  There will be some familiar faces and some new friends.

"THANKS FOR JOINING, NOW TELL US WHAT YOU THINK"

The technical challenges are some reasons folks don't post.  Other reasons are time limitations.  I suspect that there are folks who are typewriter keyboard challenged.  DO NOT be concerned about spelling and grammar.  ActiveRain is a place where you can contribute good real estate related information or, if you feel like it, just tell us what you had for breakfast this morning.  All contributions are welcomed.

Many people over the last year plus have offered help and instruction - it's nice to be collected where those in need can find it.

Lenn- Thank you very much....we are trying to bring the e-Pro Group back up to what it was before, and  meeting the needs of today.....you don't even have to be an e-Pro "yet" to join :) :)

Well Lenn, this was fun, and a bit of a departure from hard core real estate... but certainly it's good core AR. Do you remember Real Talk back a few years ago? Thought it was a real pest when we got ePro, and canceled it soon afterwards. Did it become us, or just fall by the wayside?

Cheers...

WooHoo....love the way you write no matter what you write about....that's the gift you have. :)

All of these helpful hands are surely going to make  a difference in managing groups and organizing AR a little better...don't ya think?

Lenn, Active Rain provides an education which is unlike anything I've experienced especially with regards to technology.  It's all here...if you're willing to invest some time in it. Great Resource for new and the more experienced.  Thanks.

Sharon.  Thanks.  I agree.  Kathy McGraw wanted to feature e-PRO and over the years, that has been a good tranining ground for many folks new to e-mail and many computer skills.

ActiveRain is the definitive work for blogging.

Gary.  I subscribed to RealTalk and was active there daily from the over 10 years.  e-PRO, when it was introduced by Michael Russer was great fun.  Later, the the IC folks took over e-PRO, I sent 8 of my agents through the course, hoping they'd get a clue about advertising, web sites, better us of e-mail, etc.

I came to the conclusion that you can't motivate folks to any great degree.  They have to be motivated first and then the courses like e-PRO will help.

However, with all that said, NOTHING tops ActiveRain.

Sally.  I love to write.  I don't care about spelling, grammar or structure.  I write for FUN.

Lola.  If joining the e-PRO group gives a few folks confidence to post, I'm very happy.

Lenn, this is a nice "how to find" article for newcomers (and those of us still learning!)

You should also tag it with the "ActiveRain Community Support" tag so that Bob can include it in the group of helpful posts he is putting together.

Lenn-Your comment on motivation is so right on - we can try to help motivate, but we can't do the work for them :) :)

I would like to see the e-PRO Group be more than just technology skills...but also another place where we can  have a referral area, like the Directory Saul has for people to find each other for referrals.  So if anyone is looking for an e-Pro to refer to please put that post there.........it is  in addition to the AR referral area.......

Thank you again Lenn, your voice carries a lot of weight here, and on Real Town :)  that's what a good reputation does........

I meant with the groups that have gone stagnant. The e-PRO group kind of sat for awhile...Now that Kathy went in to clean it up a bit and get it going at least that's one less group just sitting there.
