15 Comments on Coors Brewing Company in Golden, Colorado
Of course you would prefer Hamms Mr. Hamm. I remember seeing it in the late 70's and early 80's when I worked in a grocery store, but haven't seen it since. Of course I haven't looked for it either.
Will -we used to have a fairly large brewing company, Rainier Beer, tourist used to love it. Now we have micro-breweries popping up everywhere.
Best
Hey Will -
Great Localism post. Gosh I haven't thought about Coors beer in a zillion years. Well maybe not that long. I recall when it first came out it was the brew to have!
Best regards from The Q
So funny how I am taking pics of bridges and you are taking pics of the brewery. Must be a guy thing. Great localism post. Hey - didn't you also take a pic of the statue of Adolph Coors? What happened to that????
Will, I went through the plant at least 25 yers ago and was the designated driver for those who wanted to 'taste' everything. Oh what FUN that was!
Will, I had to laugh at BB's comment, I thought the same thing! I'm glad you two get to see things and have a little down time while you're out and about!
Hi Will, I am glad that you and Belinda did not tour thr Coors brewery and then try to cross the bridges. Have a nice evening.
My brother-in law is a regional director for Budweiser so needless to say that is what we have in our refrigerator (maybe sneak a little different off brand in occasionally when we know he won't be around). Coors location should be great for your employment base!
Will,
Coors provides great job opportunities for the people in CO and that's very good! We need to get the economy stimulated with jobs and home buying!
Will: This is my kind of tour. Thanks for sharing. The area is fortunate to have all of the jobs provided by this facility.
Have a great week and be sure to have your camera in hand to record those special moments.

Thanks all, of course, coors is a great beer. I use to have friends in other states that could not get it in the 70's and they all liked it when I would have it when they came to visit. The good old days!
Must be great for the local economy to have Coors in your back yard. Great localism post.
Being from Milwaukee area here in WI, I can appreciate this brewery post! Thanks WIll!!
Thanks Chris Ann and Kristin, We do not have the great smells as in Milwaukee from their brewery's.
Will.. I have a Coors *T* shirt. OK, you might think BIG DEAL, right? Well, I got this shirt back in the 70's when I went out West for the first time. At that point, Coors did NOT ship over the Mississippi River. When I wore the tee shirt back East it was a hit.. no one ever heard of the beer.
It tasted GREAT then... and still does. Wouldn't mind going on a tour of the company now.
