Houston County Georgia FORECLOSURE Price Point Statistics - August 2011

Anita, I love to see the foreclosure numbers dropping and more people keeping their homes.  Hopefully the trends continue in the decreasing direction.

Anita, it is interesting because the banks in the northeast are starting to again release the foreclosures to the market they have been sitting on...many are going to auction and being bought up prior to reaching a realtor as the banks want to keep more dollars in their pocket.  

Anita....nice post....I'm glad to see that they are dropping. Hope the trend continues!

A declining foreclosure market is good news for EVERYONE!  Buyer's may not thinks so... but it is even good news for them! :)))

Eighty-eight homes mostly under 100K is perfect for first time home buyers in my area and sounds like your area too.  Great that the number of foreclosures is dropping.  :)  Good information.

I REALLY LOVE this one!  I bet we have less than one month of inventory in our under $100K category because those things get snatched up like hotcakes!

Anita - great news that foreclosures are down in Houston County, Georgia (for so many reasons). Sounds like this is the perfect time to get off the fence and buy while interest rates are lower than ever and there are a lot of choices!  Hope this trend continues and spreads to other areas as well.
