Looking for a fun activity in Arlington, TX this weekend? On Saturday, Arlington is holding its second annual Lake Arlington Paddling Adventure. This is an opportunity for the grown ups and the kids to get out on the water and paddle a canoe or kayak while learning about water safety and conservation.
You will be able to canoe or kayak down a trail, take a short boat ride, and participate in a fun race for prizes. There will also be plenty of games and prizes!
Everything you need will be provided so all you need to bring is you and your family, ready to have some fun!
This event is Saturday, October 1st, from 9am-12pm at the Richard Simpson Park at 6300 W. Arkansas Ln...basically right where Arkansas Ln goes straight into the Lake, west of Green Oaks Blvd.
This should be a really fun event to get the family outdoors and active and have a great family Saturday!
