Active Rain Mentors!

For years I worked in the food and entertainment industry. If working in a casino taught me one thing it was that I recognized a face for a reason. For the casino, if I recognized your face it was usually coupled with good or bad feelings and helped me to remember who to avoid and who to cater to.

I have noticed in my time here at AR that the same applies. To date I get no bad feelings when I look at the faces thankfully. I do however have certain people that I now consider mentors on AR. These people are people whose faces are always showing up on the blog roll. Their content is engaging, entertaining at times, and always a good read. I have received some great advice from many of these people. There are more, but this post would go on for pages if I listed everyone. These are my top 5. If they post, I always make it a point to read it.

I want to say a big Thank you to all of them for sharing their insight and advice to help me and so many others become better Real Estate Agents!

awwww... shucks.... well, this is bound to be good for my reputation (to be seen with you)... but not sure what damage it's going to do to YOUR reputation.. (being seen with ME!?)... but thank you, nonetheless.

I'm totally flattered to be among such illustrious company. I want to thank my mother... my producer... the others who were nominated in this category, and all of those little people behind the scenes... my literary agent who fought so hard for years, to keep my words from being published...

Can I just say that I had to suggest this! There is something grossly wrong when Alan is placed ahead of me. But, if we're all being honest, there are very few with his brains, charisma and charm.....let's throw looks in there as well.

Seriously, Rebecca....I've been subscribing to you for a reason. You're good at what you do, and I feel that you'll be a force to be reckoned with here on A.R. Thanks for including me with such a great group. Truly honored.....

Adrian - Thank you for your comment!! I do the same thing when I am going through the blog roll!! When I'm just surfing the roll I look for the same type of items. Usually depends on my mood or what I was doing previously that day!

Lanre - There are so MANY on AR it really is hard to break it down in to just 5. There is Rebekah Radice, Vegas Bob (one of my favs), and of course Marilyn Boudreaux who is from my office. She is one of two agents I watch in our office to learn from. I knew her name long before I started working for Century 21. She is always on top of the newest marketing techniques and a GREAT real estate agent. I could go on and on and on!
