Walk on the LIGHT side, I like this saying more than "right" as Shakespeare paraphrased says" there is nothing right or wrong but our thinking makes it so."
I woke from a dream and wanted to direct my thought out from fear about the world. Suddenly I remembered a game one of my kids had that had a car race, kind a hand held arcade thing you pressed the handle forward and you had to direct it from crashing into the side. I thought of that game and my thinking. Forward and to the light ahead.
What is it that the sides are made up of? The news. Where is that good news? Where is it 90% chance of sunshine.
Here is good news. Science is coming back to the South Bay Schools. Manhattan Beach and Manhattan Beach teachers have joined with unusual solutions. Two different weeks of news articles from The Beach Reporter. The documentary "Dark side of the Moon" is coming out on DVD at the end of this month. What a historic DVD to buy for your family library. Everyone I know who saw it loved every minute.
"Dan in Real Life" is my movie choice this weekend. It was sweet and fun and another movie I will buy. I want reminders of all the games we can do as a family. Travel or family trips make memories to treasure forever.
Real Estate news is still really close to lender news. Either it started with the lenders and the sub-prime loans, or did it start with the federal tinkering with our loans? Anyway wherever it started it was a manipulation of the system that started to reign in the loans and try and control things. Where do we focus? Not where it started but where we are. I spent last week studying loan opportunities to take out to my open houses this weekend. Another agent studied the loans on the listings to see who had equity and could sell and still make money on the house. Either way, Realtors are working full time to move through this narrow field. When the light snaps on I think that people will be glad they bought now.
If you find a home you love..get it. Then 2 years later or 3 you will see that whatever you paid 20, 50, whatever, more or less at this moment makes little difference to the great times of loans under 7%. Strong, solid banking groups are CHASE, WAMU, Bof A, Countrywide, and Wells Fargo.
Interview lenders and tax people and realtors and you will find a goldmine of knowledge. Be sure they walk in the light side.
You are so right Lynne, these low rates won't last forever and now is the best time to buy. Floyd fan too?
