Rancho Cucamonga, CA - When Does "Stop & Go" Become "Stop - No Go"?

For several months, the residents of Rancho Cucamonga and anyone using Foothill Blvd.(A.K.A. historic Route 66) along the western edge of the city have experienced major road construction slowdowns, lane closings and heavy equipment crossings just west of Vineyard Avenue.

According to the City of Rancho Cucamonga web page, this weekend, everything will STOP.... literally.... as there will be a construction CLOSING of this section on October 1st and 2nd, from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM each day. Avoid this area:
