After the homeowner accepts your offer, you can start your mortgage process. Once you receive your mortgage commitment, then you can send in your application to Total Community Management. When they see you meet all of the requirements, your application will be passed on to the Board. You will then be contacted for a personal interview. Do not worry. Once you are approved, you will go to closing in approximately 2 to 3 weeks.

Jackie, I'm not aware of any co-ops in my neck of the woods...I do know of some in Chicago.  I think they're a great alternative to condos and these sound very affordable.
