Earlier this month I blogged about my blogging pattern and how I don't seem to be blogging as much.  Seems to me that I must have forgotten about one of the other real perks to blogging on ActiveRain and that's the road to a FREE Rainmaker account.

This month's billing of $9 jolted my memory a bit and while $9 a month is not a lot of money, it does add up.  But what's more is that you can't beat FREE.

So as of this post, I'm 92,333 points til FREE. Wonder how long that's going to take.  Based on my current blogging rate, it took me 5 months to blog 100,000k.

Allison based on your blogging (at least posting) over the past few months, it might take you a while, but kick it up a notch, enter some contest (which I haven't been doing) you'll be there in far less than two years for sure.

Charita, You can do it in 16 weeks (less if you get invite points from people and they're busy too!).  We average 5k per week once we factor in the bonus points for the challenges we participate in.  YOU CAN DO IT! :)

Dave that is so funny.  I guess 38 posts in a month is not quite rock bottom huh?  I due for a self challenge.  I'm going for goal by December 31.

Sheila that goes for you too.  I believe your rate is reduced by $10 for every 100k points.  I'm not sure about the starting point 200k, 300k etc.  Check it out.

Stephanie if you've been busy with work that you are definitely achieving some goals.  I'm pulling for you to meet that 100k soon.

Charita - go for it!!!  I totally forgot about that pricing structure and getting it free when you hit 500,000.  Now I have another goal.  I'm shooting for 150,000 by December 31st. At 5000/week (per BLiz) it will take me 78 weeks to reach 500,000.  That's roughly 18 months SO I'm thinking that March 30, 2013 I will be FREEEEE!!!!!!!

I think I am slowing down blogging.... I need to look at it as points to FREE.  Unfortunately, I'm only at 245k, so I have 255k to go.  Hmmm, maybe I should look at it as points to a cheaper rate... 55k... I think that looks better:-)
