Gananoque's Economic Development Department is proud to present Woodchuck Gallery the Business Excellence Award for the month of September 2011. This program is designed to celebrate and recognize the great businesses that operate in the Town of Gananoque.
Woodchuck Gallery has been operating in the Town of Gananoque for 25 years. The business was established in 1972 and moved to Gananoque in 1986. You can find them on the corner of King and Stone Streets in a former bank building. The bank vault is still in its original place and is in working order. This building was restored to its former grandeur on the outside, and is recognized as one of the significant architectural buildings in the commercial area of Gananoque.
Ron and Sandra Fioole have dedicated their time and energy to bring the Town of Gananoque outstanding products and exceptional service. Their historic building was restored to its original glory and visitors will find a wide variety of uniquely hand-chosen items from artisans around the world awaiting them in the display area of the Woodchuck Gallery of Fine Art and Gifts store. Every item in the store is hand-chosen for its uniqueness and quality. Trips are made to countries around the world. Ron Fioole just recently returned from a visit to Mexico with his Dad, so now there is a new selection of silver pieces.
