They’re also attempting to generate educational resources for local businesses through webinars, case studies and tips for boosting marketing efforts, and are coordinating with the National Federation of Independent Business and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce to do so! Beginning in January 2012, Facebook will be giving away $10 million in advertising to 200,000 small businesses, which translates into $50 worth of credits towards a Facebook ad.
As of right now, the 411 is that those business owners who are interested in getting this $50 credit will first need to take out an ad on Facebook. When selecting the pay-per-click ad, you can choose to set your rate of pay per click whether that’s .5 to .25., and this is where Facebook steps in. They’ll give you your first $50 worth of clicks for free! You’ll want to know that this offer is only available to the first 200,000 businesses and is sure to go fast!
