I admit I am a major book - aholic! I love to read - all different types of books, both fiction and non. I buy books at the grocery store, the book store, random garage sales. I frequently visit Lacey Timberland Library to get even MORE books. I just plain love to read, and have since I was a little girl, reading by the dim light from the living room as I lay at the foot of my bed when I was supposed to be sleeping (Ah, Little Women!!!)
Many times the books I buy are destined to be "keepers" or ones that get passed on to family members to enjoy. But to keep from getting buried in books, I also take bags of books to donate to Lacey Timberland Library. And then they have their periodic book sales where other book nuts like me can come buy inexpensive hardback and paperback books.
This Saturday, October 1, 2011, is the next book sale at Lacey Timberland Library - between 9:30 and 3:30 you can come find some new treasures to read! Lacey Timberland Library is located at 500 College St SE, Lacey; and you might need a sturdy bag to hold your "finds" since hardbacks are just $1.00 and paperbacks 25 cents!
I know where I will be somewhere in that time period on Saturday, scouting for my favorite authors and others who may become new favorites! Thanks Lacey Timberland Library!!
