The Phillies Traveling Pep Rally The Phillies Pep Rally in advance of the National League Division Series is taking a different turn. Instead of the usual Friday lunch time Pep Rally at City Hall, the "Phillies Rally Trolley" will travel up Broad Street from Citizens Bank Park and travel around Center City Philadelphia to get our already excited fans ready for Game One of the National League Division Series Saturday night against the St. Louis Cardinals.
The Phillies Rally Trolley, decorated in “With Love, Philadelphia XOXO” décor, will leave Citizens Bank Park around 11:45 a.m. and travel up Broad Street, around City Hall, Rittenhouse Square, LOVE Park, Franklin Square, the Independence Visitor Center, and up Market Street past Campo’s Deli. The Phillie Phanatic, Phillies Ballgirls, members of the Phillies' Broadcast Team - Tom McCarthy and Larry Anderson, and Comcast SportsNet Phillies analyst Ricky Bottalico will be on the trolley.
The Phillies Rally Trolley is scheduled to run from Noon to approximately 1:30 p.m. Given past experience on Broad Street, fans are advised to be patient, as Phillies Fever is at an all time high. Thousands of rally towels and “Go Phillies” cheer cards will be given out along the Phillies Trolley Tour, sponsored in a partnership with the Greater Philadelphia Tourism Marketing Corp.
For anyone who is not yet aware, The Phillies recordbreaking season continues. The Fightin Phils finished the regular season with a team record 102 wins. The team led all of Major League Baseball attendance, for the first time in team history, with 3,680,718 attendance. With a win in the last game of the regular season, Phillies Manager Charlie Manuel set a franchise mark for career wins at 646, breaking the previous record held by Gene Mauch.
