Garba is an Indian dance that originated in the region of Gujarat, it is more similar to Western Folk dance in the way that it is not like the presentational dance style of most Indian classical dances. Be willing to try something new over at the Koka Booth Amphitheatre on October 1st. Gates will open at 6pm and invite you into a new cultural experience. You can learn this Indian social dance where the men and women dance around a multi-flame lamp. There will be so much music, dancing, and vibrant colors twirling about that you are going to Have to get up and take part! The experience is open to children of all ages. Children under 5 get in for free, and for everyone else it is $5. This events is sponsored by Hum Sub Inc.
