Wondering what to do this weekend? Never fear, Chiara's here, to help you with some weekend fun, Knoxville style!
Let's start with The Vol's, who are kicking off at Neyland stadium at 12:30 pm on Saturday against Buffalo.
If you aren't into college ball, how about a Corn Maze for the family! Cruze Farms will be hosting their first corn maze, every weekend in October. Times are 10 am - 6 pm on Saturday and noon to 6 pm on Sunday.
If you are heading out towards Kingston on October 1, you can enjoy a day of crafts, antique cars, and more at the Kingston Country Fair, at Fort Southwest Point.
Perhaps you want to head towards Sevierville for the Smoky Mountain Homecoming. On October 1-2, craftsmen will dress in period clothing and will demonstrate their work at the Robert Tino Gallery in Sevierville. Look out for those roving story tellers, they'll probably spin you a tale.
If you didn't get enough festivals last weekend, there are some more on tap for this weekend!
If you are closer to Rockwood, TN, and will want to stop by downtown Rockwood for the Rockwood Fall Festival. Arts & crafts, food, and fun will be on hand October 1.
For a toe-tapping, knee-slapping good time, head out to Cove Lake State Park, Caryville, for the Louie Bluie Music and arts Festival on October 1.
If you like a high-flying time, stop by the Pellissippi State Hot Air Balloon Festival, October 1-2. If you can't get out to Pellissippi State Technical Community college Hardin Valley campus, you may just be able to catch some of those balloons flying (floating?) over head.
With all those choices, you might have a hard time deciding what to do!
Have a great weekend!
