Cypress Point, North Oxnard, CA September 30, 2011 Market Report

Cypress Point is a community is another premier community in North Oxnard, Calif. It is very close to the Oxnard River Ridge Community Golf Course. It has some very nice greenbelt areas and is a desirable place to live.

The following two graphics are of the current market and the second is a snapshot of the marketplace last year.

Although the number of sales this year seems to be on track with last year's, it is very easy to tell that last years prices were higher and the time the house spent on the market was less as well. This seems to be a current trend in many areas.

Hello Sandy:

I am very familiar with Oxnard. After September 11th, I was activated as a Reservist. I lived at the Residence Inn Marriott on Vineyard for almost 6 months. The golf course is on the premises. I would have to watch out for wild golf balls. After work, I would jog along Vineyard. If it was in the middle of the day, usually the kids from Oxnard High School would pass me jogging on the road. They would be jogging in a group.

It's a great area to live. Beautiful homes! With those prices, I'm sure buyers will be calling you soon!

Sandy, Great info on Cypress Point. Your graphs are easy to read to decipher. As you mentioned, it looks like this year's price are lower than last year's. But market times look shorter last year, compared to this year.
