Perfect evening in Daytona Beach Shores. Air temperature – 83F, water temperature – 83F. It all changes tomorrow as the first cold front is coming and for the first time in several months night temperature will fall below 70F. They say that on Saturday we will not go higher than 78F, and after high 80s and low 90s for months, it will feel like winter (don't laugh at me, it is all relative...)

But today I am enjoying this warm temperature. The water is so perfect, that I did not want to get out of the Ocean. This is the beauty of living in Florida.

Well, I grew up on the Long Island Sound Connecticut Shaore and I always said:
The water is so perfect, that I did not want to get out of the Ocean. This is the beauty of living in Florida anywhere on the salt water.

Lynn, you made me smile. But it is still warmer in Florida, especially in October. When i lived in the Bronx, we used to go to the beach to Sherwood, CT, right on the Long Island Sound. I remember that even in July it was tough getting in the water (LOL)

Lots colder and a shorter season all together but STILL SALT WATER not a lake!
