This has been a year of upsets. Underdogs overcoming all odds. For me, a PAC Ten fan, it has been a very exciting year. There is a lot of parity in the PAC Ten. Who knows who will win any given weekend. Oregon beat USC, Washington St. beat UCLA, ASU is 8 and O. Is there this much parity in your conference. We are die hard Beaver Fans - Oregon State Fans. Mostly I am a PAC TEN FAN. With all of the upsets, who is going to be in the 1 & 2 spot. Four more games for the PAC ten teams. For me this has been one of the most exciting years in a long time. Of course we follow all OSU kids. Look at Jacoby Ellesbury (OSU) and the Red Sox. The ball is now in your court. What say you? __________________

I love it when USC gets beat.  I predict our National champ will be an SEC team

I love it when USC gets beat also.  I'm a CAL Bear, and there are no words to describe my disappointment with how things have transpired for my Bears this season.  What is their problem?  My husband said they read too many press reports too early in the season, and got to comfortable, or cocky?!?!  I don't think so.  It's just not our year (again).  I'm hoping, wishing and praying they win the big game, and kick Stanford's  asses!  LOL

The SEC has a much harder time getting out of the league with a great won loss record and a conference championship game. The Big Ten is much more predictiable in their league and look at the Ohio State, Notre Dame records against SEC schools. Auburn went 13-0 and did not make it one year. The same reason Jamarcus Russell did not get a Heisman mention, still remember Peyton Manning not getting it after a great year. Its the media and population centers on the east and west coasts. I too enyoy the pac 10 and like USC losing a couple.

Jeff & Jackie,

The SEC does not have the touch schedule the PAC Ten has.  We play every PAC Ten Team.  Jeff you may be right re:  The SEC, has what I consider a padded schedule.  Jackie I think Cal will beat Standford.  Look who has beaten Standford already.

Eric, you are right.  I think the PAC Ten is a tougher conference.  More Parity, more speed.  USC has been on top long enough, it is time to share.  The Media & the polls always seem to favor the SEC.  Of course Norte Dame has an agreement, if they win so many games they get a bowl bid.  This year they are having challenges.  For which I am grateful.  Some deserving Big Ten team will take there place.  I hope.

Ohio State looked very focused this week in Happy Valley, and the announcers mentioned they've been on a mission since last year's loss to Florida. I'm looking for the Buckeyes in the national championship game against either LSU or the winner of Oregon-ASU.

We have a good friend that agrees with you re:  Ohio State.  He is a Buckeye fan.   The game between ASU & Oregon will be very interesting.  Oregon usually does well at home.  Of course I am hoping ASU wins.  Oregon State will be at USC, OSU beat USC at home last year.  Who knows OSU might pull it off.  I would love to see them become bowl eligible.  With four more games in the PAC Ten who knows how things will turn out.
