I know that Cedar City is probably not unique in observing Livestrong Day, to help focus our efforts in the fight against cancer.  This is something that I am sure has touched everyone's life in one way or another.  The idea behind Livestrong of course is attributed to Lance Armstrong, who is a cancer survivor.  There is a request that people wear yellow today.

Today's activities in Cedar City begin at 8:30 AM at the West Side Canyon Park.  The activities will include a fun run and walk whichy will take place on the walking trail in Cedar Canyon.  There are a lot more activities planned at the park including; a mini fitness boot camp, there will also be Zumba in the park.  The idea is to convince adults, (people like me) that 30 minutes a day of exercise is really beneficial in fighting cancer, heart disease and a lot of other diseases.  So come on out and support this great activity!

I don't wear a lot of yellow, so I thought that this yellow Camaro would do for a photo instead of one of me in yellow!

Tony,

A yellow car, especially this yellow car is a good choice. Thanks. :)
