Make no mistake BRAC is among us. Military personnel and Full Commands are being moved to different states. How is this effecting your market both good and Bad? Here at Fort Bragg builders moved guickly building homes and apartments in anticipation for the influx of soldiers. But now with the mortgage market tightening there are lots of homes sitting empty causing builders to start offering huge incentives. Whats happening in your area Good or Bad?

Walter - the market sure seems to be picking up now. Raleigh isn't far from Fayetteville, and I've talked to several couples over the past few weeks. Husband will be stationed at Fort Bragg, wife working in Raleigh, and looking for a home at a nice halfway point. This area will be growing, but there may be some tough changes in other places.

BRAC cleaned our clock a few years back, we haven't really fully recovered. Wal Mart is now our # 3 employer, should tell us something.
