Frisco's "Ruff Range" Dog Park Grand Opening October 2nd, 2011

It's official! Frisco "Ruff Range" Dog Park is opening this Sunday, October 2 @ 2 pm. There will be vendors, giveaways, and lots of fun. Come on out and celebrate the Dog Park which has been long overdue for our area.

The park is located at BF Phillips Community Park which is 3335 4th Army Memorial. If you are not familiar with the area, 4th Army Memorial is located close to Teel and Lebanon.

Come on out and enjoy the beautiful weather we are expecting in Frisco Texas. I'm positive it will be quite busy, but lots of fun. See you there!

And yes, there will be doggie bags. :-)

Eric - There are a few around our city, and we have been pushing for one for a little while. With so much space in Frisco, it didn't make sense to not have one. Enjoy your weekend as well.

Riichard - Its something weve been looking forward to for a little while. Otherwise, we'd have to drive to Plano or Allen. Both have nice parks, but we wanted one closer.

I was shocked here recently when despite Beaverton's family friendly environment and 100s of parks, we only had one dog park in all of Beaverton. Hopefully that will change soon!

Todd - Thats how it is here. We have tons of parks, but not one dog park. It was well overdue.

Gene - Sadly, Im not a good photographer, so I had to borrow someone else's picture. I do have a dog this cute though and she annoys the heck out of our older dog.
