This seldom happens in today's mobile society; but these 2 knew each other since they were children. We have been friends of both families for 25 years.
What a pleasure to have that experience and see kids from 2 families you admire get together.
Laura is Navy. Mike is Army and they were married yesterday at the USMC base at Quantico VA.

Actually Bill, this is my third wedding of children of friends who knew each other growing up. Only one couple could be called childhood sweethearts. The other 2 just tolerated each other until they were in their mid 20's. Then they decided they liked each other :-)
