Benjamin Moore COLOR STYLE '08-- Puget Sound Area Color Consultants, Barbi Ford, Roberta Anderson, Francesca Tosolini, Sandi Gregori, and Julianna Hind, recently attended the Benjamin Moore Style '08 presentation with Mary Hoffman.
The forum was hosted at the Seattle Art Museum, and participants experienced first hand the colors of the upcoming season. Don't worry if you missed it, the Style '08 presentation is also features in Benjamin Moore's COLOR Style magazine, available from the Benjamin Moore website and your local Benjamin Moore Paint store.
Together, Mary Hoffman lead participants through the orgins and influences of the hottest color trends, sharing color through paint, tiles, fabrics, and other mediums. Benjamin Moore Architectural Representative, Randy Tessman, was also on hand to meet and mingle with all the area's trendiest color designers.
Also featured was Aura, a no VOC paint with supberb coverage and durability, along with the Affinity line of coordinating paint colors.
The three distinctive concepts of "what's happening in color now" include:
- Modern Tranquility; soft, light, and airy colors creating a feeling of serenity and calm. With colors such as Peacock Feathers, Wedding Veil, and Capri Coast, tranquility is a few brush strokes away.
- Organic Comfort; grounded, "rooted in nature" colors that bring balance and harmony. Providence Olive, Sulfur Yellow, and Cape Hatteras Sand are a few of the colors from this palette that gently shelter.
- Pure Opulence;mysterious, magnetic hues with depth and richness. French Violet, Aegean Teal, Gypsy Pink and Rockport Gray are sophisticated and sensual, and are just a few of the lavish colors that this collection offers.
