Today the boys are talking about cities levying fines for neglected propertied; this is scaring away investors and potential home owner who have to pay those fines accrued prior to their taking over the foreclosed on property.  These owners are trying to fix up the properties and helping to improve the neighborhoods, these code enforcement fines can be costly.  One city, Oakland, CA., has a mayor who is all for these fines while her own property is in such bad shape she is being called "The Queen of Blight".
Mortgage delinquencies are up 6/10% over last quarter; not a big increase but still up.
