Thank heavens it was a sloppy day here in Crescent City, California so that I could take a lot of time with my short sale seller to go over endless forms. Several lamps made the office cozy on this murky day, making the client relaxed while being handed form after form to fill in. Coffee was served to keep the client alert.  Finally it was done, and the client was actually reluctant to leave to go out into the drippy morning.

NOTE TO SELF: ALWAYS COZY UP THE OFFICE WHEN A "DEPRESSED" CLIENT VISITS.

Next came scanning of over 40 pages and email of all to the buying agent. Totally boring. Yawn.

NOTE TO SELF: GET SUGARY GOODIES TO MUNCH ON TO KEEP ALERT.

The rest of this rainy day was spent organizing various transaction files that are in the works. Clients tend to call at odd hours wanting to know the status of something or other and they REALLY expect to be treated as if they were your only client.

Now it's 6:21PM and I see the sun peeking out between some heavy duty clouds and there are low fog patches over the Smith River. Time to take the dogs for a last walk up into the hills.

Here's that one and only glimpse of the sun I had today.

Hella - It's not so bad to paperwork on rainy days.  It's those sunny days with perfect weather when I can't see out from under the paperwork that bother me, but then again you get a lot more sunny days than we do!
