Margaret, Condo prices have come down so dramatically! This would be a perfect place for a parent to invest for their college student to live instead of paying rent! A full service building can help give parents peace of mind. This would be a hop, skip and a jump from Towson, Stevenson, Loyola, University of Baltimore, Hopkins, UMBC...
Since the price is so low, a mortgage may be difficult to secure. With rates so low, it may even make sense to use some of the equity from a primary residence to purchase the condo for cash. Just a thought!
